We have three categories of ticket: short-term, long-term, and group tickets. Below you will find all the information that you’ll need as a visitor to Ostrava
Short-term tickets
- You can buy short-term tickets in the vehicle itself, using your bank card (or ApplePay / GooglePay) or a credit ticket, or you can buy tickets online using the MojeDPO phone app (buy the ticket before you enter the vehicle). Payments using VISA and MASTERCARD are guaranteed.
-
Tickets you can buy with a bank card or credit ticket:
- A transfer ticket, which allows you to transfer to different vehicles and is valid for 60 minutes from validation. You need to tap your bank card or credit ticket on the payment terminal every time you enter a vehicle. You don’t need to tap your card when you leave the vehicle.
- A single-journey ticket (no transfers), valid up to 10 minutes. You need to tap your bank card or credit ticket on the payment terminal when you enter the vehicle, and then tap again when you leave the vehicle.
- Smart daily fare: If you travel multiple times during a single day, the maximum fare that you will pay for the whole day is the price of a 24-hour ticket. The fare is always taken from your bank account at 3 a.m. for the previous day.
- Tickets you can buy using the “MojeDPO” phone app:
- You should buy tickets using the app before entering the vehicle. You pay with your bank card – just enter the card details in the app. You can save the card details to make your next payment easier.
- The available tickets are listed in the app itself.

The fare is always taken from your bank account at 3 a.m. for the previous day.
For 3 or more days
- You can buy a 3-day ticket at one of our ticket machines (it will be added to a credit ticket), or using our “MojeDPO” phone app. The app also offers the option to buy a 7-day ticket.

Group tickets
If you’re travelling in a group, the cheapest option will usually be a 24-hour group ticket. The group ticket is valid for up to 5 people. It costs 200 CZK and you can buy it via the “MojeDPO” phone app or at ticket offices.
If there are more than 5 people in your group, or if a 24-hour ticket is not suitable for you, you can use the “MojeDPO” phone app to buy up to 50 tickets (of any type) at once.
Tickets for fellow passengers – buying tickets in the vehicle
If you are using your bank card to pay, you can pay for up to 5 people at once. Start by tapping your card on the payment terminal to buy a ticket for yourself. Then, use the “Fellow-passengers +” button to choose the number of extra tickets you want to buy, and then tap your card again. If you are using a credit ticket, you can buy up to 50 tickets at once.
